He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Parsons and Helen Parsons (Elshere); his son-in-law George Hohwieler; his brothers, Boyd Parsons Sr. and Dean Parsons; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Berry, Frank Slovek and Blanche Parsons.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Janice Thorson; his wife Janice of Milesville; his children, Earl Parsons (Jodi) of Milesville, Michael Parsons (Melody) of Spearfish, Sharon Olivier (Bryan) of Milesville and Nancy Hohwieler (George) of Lincoln, NE; his grandchildren, Tyler Olivier (Stacy Lewis), Shea Olivier, Andy (Kylie Hohwieler), Bradley Hohwieler, Jordan (Michaela Hohwieler), Rachel Parsons, Sarah Parsons, Bailey (Dylan Terry), Carter Parsons and Landon Parsons; his great grandchildren, Liam Olivier and Hallie Hohwieler; his siblings, Billie Parsons (Connie) of Milesville, Doris Berry of Milesville, Mary Slovek of Philip and Leah Waddell (James) of Phoenix, AZ; and his sister-in-law Joanne Parsons. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
