He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kaufman and Viola Kaufman (Archut); his daughter Sandra Kaufman; and his brothers, Milton Kaufman and Armin Kaufman.
He is survived by: his children, Vernon Kaufman (Debbie) of Brandon, MN and Tamera Abraham (Jon) of Gaylord, MN; his grandchildren, Sara Kaufman (Jesse), Amanda Kaufman (Dave), Sam Abraham (Rebecca), Michael McCoy and Matthew Ward; his brother Donald Kaufman; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Bohn (Don) and Donna Kaufman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
