She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth McCrea and Margaret McCrea (Schwandt); her husband Lester Schimmel; her son-in-law Roy Boone; her sister Verona; and her brother-in-law Larry Sauer.
She is survived by: her children, Karla Boone of Blomkest, MN and Kevin Schimmel (Sheila) of Webster, SD; her grandchildren, Josh Boone, Shelby Deering (Matt), Kelsey Zirbel (Trecy), Kayla Schimmel and Jared Schimmel; her great grandchildren, Natalie and William Boone; her grandchildren, Benjamin Deering, Teagan and Tenley Zirbel; and her siblings, Melbourne McCrea, Orgene McCrea (Karen) and Verda McCrea.
