He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Foss and Mamie Foss (Boerger); his daughters, Theresa Malkerson (Kerry) and Cheryl Pauli; his brother Merl Foss; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Mitchell and Asa Kelly.
He is survived by: his former wife Peggy Joan Veale; his wife Beverly Ann Karges of Milbank, SD; his children, Gary Foss (Vicki) of Hermosa, SD, Steven Foss (Bridgett) of Rapid City, SD, Angela Olson (Barry) of Grand Rapids, MN, Daryl Foss (Lana) of Harker Heights, TX, Karla DeVaal (Jim) of Milbank, SD and Joan Braesch of Prior Lake, MN; his son-in-law Neil Pauli; and his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Foss, Charlotte Mitchell and Marles Kelly. He is also survived by Twin Brooks, SD; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
