It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valeria Pond (Milbank, South Dakota), born in Peever, South Dakota, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Cooper and Leone M. L. Kurrasch; her children, Burnell Pond (Sharon) of New Castle, WY, Charles Pond (Kay) of Gainesville, VA, Donna Droptiny of Arkansas, Beth Pond of Sioux Falls, SD, Matthew Pond (Lori) of Wilmot, SD, Teresa Breen (Gerry) of Baltic, SD and Nicole Osterloh (Craig) of Marvin, SD; her husband Charles L. Pond; her daughter Laureen L. Pond; and her grandson Justin Nelson. She was also cherished by 28 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
