He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Inier Bjerke and Verna Jean Bjerke (Pies); and his pets, Macie, Sammie, Maggie and Bear.
He is survived by: his wife Kim Bjerke of Milbank, SD; his daughters, Melissa Broberg (Charlie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Karla Klueber (Tim) of Montrose, SD, Shawna Gardner (Russ) of Sioux Falls, SD and Jamie MacKinnon (Jason) of Ghent, MN; his adoptive daughter Abigail Klingenberg of Milbank, SD; his brother Roger Bjerke (Deb) of Bismarck, ND; his grandchildren, Zachery (Dawson Hopkins), Moses, Jonah, Daphnee (Lizzie Broberg), Raya (Jessa MacKinnon) and Cash (Prezleigh Gardner); his nephew David Bjerke of Bismarck, ND; his niece Michelle Zimney (Tony) of Bismarck, ND; and his close friends, Hillarie Folk and Mark Loehrer.
