He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wellnitz and Allkie Wellnitz (Blum); his son Darrin; and his brother Dale. He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Ann Trapp; his wife Marge of Milbank, SD; his daughter Lynn Wendorf (John) of Mason City, IA; his granddaughter McKayla Wendorf; his stepchildren, Tina Rudebusch, Tara Wilkerson (Don) and Elvis Mielitz (Heidi); his stepgrandchildren, Brock Rudebusch, Jadin Rudebusch, Bryson Rudebusch, Karissa Wilkerson, Tracy Wilkerson, Kylee Mielitz and Elvis Mielitz, Jr.; his stepgreat-grandchildren, K'aLicia Rudebusch, Khloe Rudebusch, Jerico Rudebusch and Jacoby Rudebusch; his siblings, Donald Wellnitz (Carol), Arnold Wellnitz (Sharon), Joyce Hermans (Floyd) and Earl Wellnitz (Marlys); and his sister-in-law Sandy Wellnitz.
