He was predeceased by: his parents, Enoch Madsen and Marie Madsen; his sister Doris Nicholson; and his grandchildren, Kirk, Elizabeth and Laura Wheeler.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Wheeler of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Caren White (Butch) of Ho-Ho, Carla Peterson (Bob) of Newborn, GA, Mary Meade (Keith) and Chris Madsen of Watertown, SD; and his spouse Carol. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
