He was predeceased by: his uncles, John Cowan and Earl Sherburne; and his grandparents, Dr. Jack, Margaret Cowan, Verlin and Ethel Sherburne.
He is survived by: his brother Michael Paul Sherburne (Angela); his adoptive mother Cheryl Sherburne; his sons, Declan and Kellen; his wife Amanda Henkel; his daughter Elliot; his grandchildren, Declan and Kellen; his parents, Paul Sherburne and Cheryl Sherburne; his aunt Marilee Bedel (Tony); his cousins, Tony (Maryel), Jack, Beth, Cathy Cowan-Odeen (Erik), Annika, Hannah, Deb Cowan, Scott (Jenna), Laura (Jason Neville), Sonja Sherburne, Erik (Kaia) and Kirk (Kari); and also, Mason and Alex.
In 2020 they were engaged to be married when they were both diagnosed with COVID 19.
