He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wilber Lupinek and Isabell Adalyn Lupinek (Zielsky); his grandparents, Reuben, Anna Zielsky, Anton and Olga Zemlicka; his sister Cheryl O'Farrell; and his sister-in-law Pennie Lupinek (Larson).
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Lupinek (Sharon) of Gillette, WY and Dustin Lupinek (Brooke) of Watertown, SD; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jayden and Alita; his former wife Rhonda Lupinek of Gillette, WY; and his brothers, Lowell Lupinek of St. Cloud, MN and Ronald Lupinek (Joyce) of Coon Rapids, MN. He is also survived by one niece; and six nephews.
