With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Lu Veen of Milbank, South Dakota, born in Ottertail, Minnesota, who passed away on April 10, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Menze and Marie Menze (Borchers); her parents-in-law, George and Esther Veen; her former husband Jerry Vipond; her brothers, Donald Smith and Jerry; and her siblings-in-law, Jan Menze and Donald Veen.
She is survived by: her husband Dayle; her children, Jim Vipond of Milbank, SD, Reenie Ivers (Bo) of Milbank, SD, Tyson Veen of Red Rock, AZ and Talia Wacek (Wade) of Redwood Falls, MN; her grandchildren, Miranda Ivers (Leo), Corah Ivers (Carlos), Mason Ivers, Michaela Jimenez (Michael), James McBride, Xander McBride, Derek Wacek and Dustin Wacek; her great grandchild Malakhi Ivers of Santiago; her sister Joan Smith of Milbank, SD; and her siblings-in-law, Dan Veen of Beaumont, TX, Albert Veen (Terri) of Brookings, SD and Anita Veen of Seattle Washington. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
