He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leonard Haliburton and Mathilda Haliburton (Malisch); his wife Jeanette Haliburton of Milbank, SD; his sons, Denny Haliburton (Cindy) of Aberdeen, SD, Garry Haliburton (Judy) of Harrisburg, SD, Clark Haliburton (Dori) of Watertown, SD, Tim Haliburton (Kim) of Seoul, Korea, Richard Haliburton (Renee) of Cottage Grove, MN and Robert Haliburton (Teresa) of Cottage Grove, MN; and his parents-in-law, Laverna, Jerry and Sharon Moldenhauer. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
