He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn (Nelson); and his brothers, Tom Johnson and Bruce Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Marsha Johnson (Everett Smith) of Maplewood, MN, Andrew Johnson (Brenda Handel-Johnson) of Milbank, SD and Ann Many Birds. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
