With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Cloos of Milbank, South Dakota, born in Ortonville, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Cloos and Joan Cloos (Cordie); and his brother Bob Cloos. He is survived by: his wife Jolene Cloos of Milbank, SD; his children, Adam Cloos (Erin) of Omaha, NE, Brenna Fredrichsen (Tyler) and Kendra Lakey (Kyle) of Galesville, WI; his siblings, Roger Cloos (Lori) of Watertown, SD, Todd Cloos (Candee), Janet Waibel (Tom) of St. Cloud, MN, Cathy Gerber (Barry) of Norfolk, NE and Dave Cloos; his sister-in-law Denise Cloos of Jordan, MN; and his grandchildren, Parker Fredrichsen, Kinsley Fredrichsen, Zoey Fredrichsen, Jack Lakey and Carson Lakey.
