She was predeceased by: her brother Benard Schoon (Shirley); and her brother-in-law Ed Strand. She is survived by: her children, Julie Knock (Nick) of Revillo, SD and Duane Scheff (Elaine) of Auburn, WA; her grandchildren, Heather Fickbohm (Matthew) of Fort Pierre, SD, Tyler Scheff of Cheney, WA and Annie Scheff of Auburn, WA; and her great grandchildren, Jaina, Willard and Evangelina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“my cousin called metoday about graces passing and I just mailed her a letter today to tell her of my brother Dean gommer passing away on the 7 ofn Aug I will miss Grace as we were grade school classmates and have kept in contact all these years.. Dean played with her brother he was 78 years old much younger than Grace or I. Please let me know where I can send some money for memorial. Thanks Ruth Gommer Hamman. My address should be with her things or on this letter that I just mailed.”
