He is survived by: his former wife Jacqueline Smith (Duimstra); his wife Jackie; his children, Scott Smith (Karen) of Aurora, CO, Kim Kaiser of Parker, CO, Pam Schmidt (Lee) of Brookings, SD, Ginger Leon (Ruben) of Colfax, NC and Mike Smith (Audra) of Soddy Daisy, TN; his siblings, Connie Norman (Louie), Peg Earl (Bruce), Bette Dejanovich (Peter), Bill Smith and Ken Smith (Liz); his grandchildren, Erik, Jacob (Shanell), Gabe Smith, Jack (Gina), Kelcie Wichmann (Chris), Tommy, Maggie Kaiser, Kari Estes (Brian), Dan Schmidt (Ashley), Vern, Nomar, Robby Leon, Colton and Asher Smith; and his great grandchildren, Sofia, Donny Smith and Haven Jo Estes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Milbank High School Educational Foundation in the name of George L. Smith.
