He is survived by: his sibling Brooks; his grandchildren, Craig Kneeland, Kevin Kneeland, Lucas McKernan, Jacob McKernan, Randy McKernan, Tucker McKernan, Crystal Smith and Jessica Grathwol; his former wife Sandra Ann Strobl; his wife Sandy; his son Mike McKernan (Holly Hilbrands); his siblings, Betty Ann Fenhaus (Lloyd) of Corona, SD, Mary Lou Jarman of Milbank, SD and Billy McKernan of Milbank, SD; and his sister-in-law Sharon McKernan of Bloomington, MN. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
