He is survived by: his wife Lois Koch of Milbank, SD; his children, Todd Koch (Paula) of Milbank, SD, Lonnie Allen-Ruud (Ron) of Sioux Falls, SD, Kerry Fish (Richard) of Milbank, SD, Kip Koch (Kea) of Milbank, SD, Lew Koch (Lisa) of Aberdeen, SD and Leigh Patterson (Jerry) of Alexandria, MN; and his sister-in-law Carol Koch. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
