Elaine Hofhenke Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Hofhenke of Milbank, South Dakota, born in Frazee, Minnesota, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olger Dolen and Elnora Rise Dolen; her spouse Luverne Hofhenke; her son Darwin; and her siblings, Marilyn Barnhardt and Leonard.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Hofhenke (Heather Peacock-Roberts) of Sioux Falls, SD, Dean Hofhenke of St. Paul, MN, Kathleen Johnson (Larry) of Artesian, SD, Michelle Karges of Milbank, SD and Peggy Brandriet (Ronald) of Sioux Falls, SD; her sisters, Karen Loehrer of Milbank, SD and Gloria Kubesh (Ted) of Blaine, MN; and her sisters-in-law, Donna Dolen of Watertown, SD, Marian Wellnitz of Miles City, MT and Arvid Hofhenke (Irma) of Milbank, SD.. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by attendees is required, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep our facility clean.
