Duane Seehafer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Seehafer of Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Fritz" Seehafer and Elsie "Lizzie" Seehafer (Rohlfs); and his siblings, Evelyn Berg, Viola Frerichs, Maxine Gerdes and Myron Seehafer.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Gaier (Tony) of Albuquerque, NM and Jeff Seehafer (Holli); his siblings, Kris Prins of Estelline, SD, Todd Seehafer (Brenda) of Corona, SD and Brett Seehafer (Susan VonEschen) of Corona, SD; his grandchildren, Jessica Seehafer, Jennifer Seehafer, Jacob Prins (Kylie), Danielle Larson (Mark), Brady Seehafer (Jimmie), Brent Seehafer (Luke), Taylor Seehafer, Caleb Seehafer, Haeley Seehafer and Sawyer Seehafer; his great grandchild Naomi Larson; his grandchildren, Frankie Seehafer and Ronnie Seehafer; and his great grandchild McCoy Larson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Emanuel Lutheran Church (701 S 1st St, Milbank, SD 57252).
