He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom and Emma; his brother Thomas Jr.; his great-nephew Jeremy Brodeur; and his siblings, Wanda Skoog Olson and Gene.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hendriks Florey of Milbank; his stepdaughter Mary Wiebusch (Jeremy) of Billings, MT; his brother Dale "Dick" Skoog (Mary) of Milbank, SD; his sister-in-law Bonnie; his grandchildren, Brent Greiner of Sioux Falls, SD, Kirsten Johanson of Billings, MT, Amanda Dyer and Kelsey Johanson of Billings, MT; and his nieces and nephews, Ann Olson Brodeur, Val Skoog Hale (Robbie) of Dallas, TX, Nikki Skoog of LaMoure, ND, Dawn Skoog of Dallas, TX, Pari Skoog (Debbie) of Tea, SD, Aaron Skoog (Jody) of Milbank, SD, Rick Olson of Virginia, MN, Bobby Skoog of Ft Worth, TX and Jason Skoog (Benjamin Davis) of Dallas, TX.. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to gather for visitations and services. The use of face masks by attendees is recommended, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep our facility clean.
He moved to the Wilmot Care Center in 2000, due to advanced severe Parkinson's Disease.
