He was predeceased by: his parents, George Veen and Esther Veen (Dockter); his wife Linda Veen; his son Cory Veen; his brother Donald Veen; his in-laws, Ted and Marie Menze; and his brothers, Jerry, Jan Menze and Donald Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Tyson Veen of Red Rock, AZ and Talia Wacek (Wade) of Redwood Falls, MN; his stepchildren, Jim Vipond of Milbank, SD and Reenie Ivers (Bo) of Milbank, SD; his grandchildren, Miranda Ivers (Tony), Corah Ivers (Carlos), Mason Ivers, Michaela Jimenez (Michael), James McBride, Xander McBride, Derek Wacek and Dustin Wacek; his great grandchild Malakhi Ivers of Santiago; his siblings, Dan Veen of Beaumont, TX, Albert Veen (Terri) of Brookings, SD and Anita Veen of Seattle, WA; and his sister-in-law Joan Smith of Milbank, SD..
