It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Crystal Nelson of Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on January 22, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Brandsrud and Murna Brandsrud (Patterson); her husband Harlowe Nelson of Martin's Lutheran Church; her brother James Brandsrud; her in-laws, Simon and Ruby Nelson; and her siblings-in-law, Clifford Nelson and Teresa Nelson.

She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia Anderson of Silver Lake, KS and Jackie Rieffenberger (Bill) of Watertown, SD; and her siblings-in-law, Denise Nelson and Lane Nelson.

Outside of work, Chris enjoyed crocheting afghans, which she would later donate to local nursing homes.
