Alice Holtquist Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Holtquist of Milbank, South Dakota, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sons, Gary William, Gregory Wayne and David Mark; her great grandchild Brian James Friedrich; her siblings, Roland, Alvin, Earl, Rev. Herbert, Verna Stoehr and Elvera Cooper; and her siblings-in-law, Raymond Stoehr, Robert Cooper, Gordon Anderson, Howard Henderson, Allan Holtquist, Harold Holtquist, Kenneth Holtquist, Elaine Schwandt, Edna Schwandt, Beatrice Schwandt, Mary Ann Holtquist and Lalah Holtquist.
She is survived by: her children, Susanne Ethel (Susan Woodman) of Lawrence, KS, Sandra Marie Paulsen (Ron) of Albany, MN, Douglas Allen of Woodbury, CT, Bruce Donald (Jan) of Springfield, SD, Rebecca Rose of Northfield, MN and Michael Mason (Julie Thomson); her daughters-in-law, Connie Holtquist of Ortonville, MI and Shelly Holtquist of Waterford, MI; her sisters, Ethel Anderson of Brainerd, MN and Evelyn Henderson of Lincoln, NE; her sister-in-law Kay Schwandt of Bowie, MD.; and her friend Place. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
The family has requested that those attending the visitation and funeral service wear masks.
Memorials may be given in Alice's memory to St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
