It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sally Ehlers (Midland, South Dakota), born in Pierre, South Dakota, who passed away on October 30, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Nemec and Bessie Nemec (Sheeley); her grandchildren, Dylan Ehlers and Cassidy Cook; her son-in-law Morgan Cook; her sister Teresa McLaughlin; and her brothers-in-law, Mac McLaughlin and Johnny Fosheim.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Donnie Ehlers (Bonnie) of Midland, Cheryl Hook (Marty) of Mobridge, Rory Ehlers of Ft. Pierre and Pam Cook of Mitchell, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Rachel Ritzman (Jake), Devon Ehlers (Haley), Dixie Ehlers, Stephanie Gisi, Hunter Hook, Nicolette Cook and Walker Cook; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Madison and Brody Gisi; and her siblings, Ernest Nemec (Laurel) of Midland, Judy Fosheim of Midland, Tom Nemec (Theresa) of Cannon Falls and John Nemec (Linda) of Midland. She is also survived by her daughters, granddaughters, and great granddaughters.
A memorial will be set up for "Pens & Pads from Sally" to provide baskets at hospitals and waiting rooms for donations of pens, notepads, sticky notes.
