He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Sammons and Ruby Sammons (Albery); his grandson Devon Sammons; his sister Shirley Fosheim; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Fosheim and Bob Quatier.
He is survived by: his wife Emily of Midland; his children, Ronnie Bill Sammons (Margy) of Newcastle, Corinne Norman (Mitch) of Hayes and Mark Sammons (Kris) of Sturgis; and his sisters, Arlyne Markwed (Billy) of Midland and JoAnne "Jo" Quatier of Tennessee. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
