He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Briggs and Marjorie Briggs (Pickles). He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Briggs of Spearfish, Edward Briggs (Beth) of Midland and Jacque Ritter (Mark) of Dayton, Minnesota; and his nieces and nephews, Stephanie Ritter of Broomfield, Rochelle Ritter of Columbia, Casey Briggs of Vienna and Shane Briggs of Ft. Pierre. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
