She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Lang and Ruth Lang (Auch); her brother Gene Lang; her nephew Wade Lang; her brother-in-law Gary Golder; and her daughter-in-law Jessica Schaeffer.
She is survived by: her husband Galen Schaeffer; her son Travis Schaeffer (Kristi) of Canton, SD; her grandchildren, Aden, Raiann, Nyla and Alaina Schaeffer; and her siblings, Lana Morton (Jack), Phyllis Golder, Linda Bertsch (Ron), Ruby Castardo (Rick), Gary Lang (Marla) and Glenn Lang (Kelley).
In lieu of flowers the family would welcome donations towards the Alzheimer's Association of South Dakota Chapter, 5915 S. Remington Place Suite 110, Sioux Falls, SD or a memorial fund.
