He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schultz and Maria Schultz (Hofer); his sister Tobea; his brother-in-law Wilbert Schaeffer; his sister Ruth; his brother-in-law Ernie Fischer; his sister Lorene Schultz; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin, Lelia Schaeffer, Emil, Sally Fischer, Arnold, Ginny Schaeffer, Alfred Schaeffer, Verina Tiede, Elton Schaeffer and Mary Jane Schaeffer.
He is survived by: his sons, Fred (Ann), Mike (Vicki) and Loren (Jennifer); his wife Geraldine Schaeffer; his son Stewart Schultz (Karen); his siblings-in-law, Victor, Darlene Schaeffer, Gideon Schaeffer, Leona Schaeffer, John, Darleen Schaeffer and Harriet Schaeffer; and his grandchildren, Candyce Thieken (Jim), Katie Paulson (Jake), William Schultz, John Schultz (Becca), Jeff Schultz (Yolanda), Jenny Nelson (Matt), Chelsea Summerside (George), Carissa Schutt (Wyatt), Chandra Van Zyl (JR), Parker Schultz and Spencer Schultz. He is also survived by 18 greatgrandchildren.
