He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Zerbel and Nina Zerbel (McLain); his brother Delvin Zerbel; his parents-in-law, Charles and Esther Fischer; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Fischer and Marvin Bebo (Spud).
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Mellette; his daughters, Shelley Shanley (Kipp) of Warner, SD and Camille Kaul (Randy) of Aberdeen, SD; his grandchildren, Justen Gelling (Kelsey Greene), Sydney Gelling, Riley Kaul, Ty McDonald and Jake Shanley; his siblings, Carol Bebo of Redfield, SD and Marlin Zerbel of Rapid City, SD; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Fischer (Hawkins) of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
