He was predeceased by: his parents, Christopher and Petra (Kornstad); his siblings, Hanna, Ingrid, Iver and Kenneth; his granddaughter Carrie; and his sister-in-law Ruth Rosenau.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Rosenau; his children, Bruce Flatmoe (Kim) of Burnsville, MN, Brian Flatmoe (Gloria) of Meadow, SD, Barbara Clark (Pat) of Meadow, SD and Rebecca Paul (John) of Faith, SD; his grandchildren, Brett Flatmoe (Alyssa), Tyler Flatmoe (Avery), Annie Ward (Tyrell), Sadie Conrad (Trevor), Megan Johnson (Cody), Abby Peterson (Braydon), Macyn Flatmoe, Tayte Clark (Emma), Trig Clark (Jordan), Cassidy Ward (Colton), Teigan Clark (Lindsey), Iver Paul (Audrey) and Everett Paul; his sister Clara Duncan; and his sister-in-law Charlotte Flatmoe. He is also survived by 19 Great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the Coal Springs Community Church and the Coal Springs Community Antique Club.
