She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Hempel and Robert Hempel (Bud); and her spouse Irvey Schanzenbach. She is survived by: her daughters, Lou Ann Blotsky (Bismarck), Terri Leingang (Mandan), Gayle Schlosser (Bill) and Patti Knapp (Mandan); and her brother Bob Hempel of Springfield, SD.. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Association.
