It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kent Schneider of McLaughlin, South Dakota, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Anton Schneider; his father-in-law Robert Knudson; and his sister-in-law Patricia Knudson. He is survived by: his mother Norma Schneider (Hepper) of McLaughlin, SD; his wife Kim (Knudson); his daughters, Erika Taken Alive (Hank) of Mobridge, SD, Kara Schaefbauer (Cody) of Mobridge, SD and Kayla Sik (Walker) of Aurora, SD.; his grandchildren, Henry, Hailey Taken Alive and Lawson Schaefbauer; his mother-in-law Katherine Knudson of Mobridge, SD.; and his siblings, Diane Mickelson (Mike) of McLaughlin, SD, Dave Schneider of Sturgis, SD, Tina Turner of Sidney, MT, Jim Schneider (Mary) of Rathdrum, ID and Paul Schneider (Lisa) of McLaughlin, SD.. He is also survived by his 18 nieces and nephews, 19 great nieces and nephews, and numerous relatives and friends.
