We are sad to announce that on July 13, 2023, at the age of 93, Marie Ternes of McIntosh, South Dakota, born in Shields, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arseius Volk and Fanny Volk (Koch); her husband Seferious "Ex" Ternes; her sons, Anthony and Steve; her siblings, Christina, Johnny, Mike, Jochim, Helen and Bert; and her sons-in-law, Duane Gehring and Robert Edinger.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Ternes (Sherry) of McIntosh, SD, George Ternes (Lorrie) of McIntosh, SD, Judy Edinger of McIntosh, SD and Kathleen Gehring of Jamestown, ND; her sister Dorothy; and her sisters-in-law, Alvina Lenerville of Rapid City, SD and Darlene Soucy of Fargo, ND. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
