He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Gehring and Lydia Gehring (Moser); his wife Annette Blotsky; his friend Bill Blotsky; his sister Charolotte; his friend Charlie; his children, Angela Johnson (Mike) of Mellette, SD, Heather Botha (Will) of McIntosh, SD, Craig Gehring (Jenn) of McIntosh, SD and Timothy Gehring (Kourtny) of McIntosh, SD.; his grandchildren, Kyler Johnson (Morgan), Hunter Johnson, Sierrah Johnson, Chris Botha, Gage, Adalyn Gehring, Bristol, Everly, Miles and Britton Gehring; his great-grandparent Paisley Johnson; his siblings, Charlotte Moser (Don) of McLaughlin, SD, Joyce Frazier (Dave) of Woodbury, TN, Donna (Don) of Johnstown, CO and Dwight (Rita) of Tioga, ND.; his grandparents, William, Justina Moser (Schweigert), Godfred and Christinia Gehring (Schmeier); his brother Dennis Gehring; and his grandchildren, Baby Johnson and Alisha Norma Gehring.
A prayer was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Kesling Funeral Chapel (1201 W Grand Crossing, Mobridge, SD 57601). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church.
