She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Helm and Lola Helm (Trometer). She is survived by: her spouse Terry L. Bernhardt; her son Chad Bernhardt; her grandchildren, Porter Bernhardt, Maximus Davis, Leona Davis and Amaya Davis; her daughter Paige Scott (Tate) of Edmond, OK; and her grandchildren, Sydnee Scott, Sierra Scott and Sawyer Scott. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Siouxland.
