Eleanor LaVonne Ingalls Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor LaVonne Ingalls of Maurine, South Dakota, who passed away on February 4, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Boe and Opal Boe; her brothers, Bob, Ivan, Kenny, Bryce, Art, Norman and Dale; and her son-in-law Fred Lambing.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh; her children, Marie Shilling (Daniel), Peggy Rahn, Dan Ingalls (Monica Obregón), Kenny Ingalls (Dana), Beth Hotchkiss (Terry) and Laila Brownlee (Phillip); her siblings, Jean Lewton and George Boe; and her sisters-in-law, Sandi Boe, Connie Boe, Elaine Rowett (Neal) and Virginia Brandt. She is also survived by Eighteen grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kinkade Funeral Chapel (1235 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church - Sturgis (1319 Junction Ave, Sturgis, SD 57785). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Opal Cemetery.
