He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Rude and Edith Rude; and his wife Alyce Ann Veitl. He is survived by: his children, Jim (Maraday), Lee and Sandy. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
