He was predeceased by: his parents, Claus Claussen and Gladys Claussen; and his siblings, Arlene Curtis, Gail, Lloyd, Ralph and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Farmer; his children, Deb Soderlin, Gregg Claussen (Judi) and Steve Claussen; and his grandchildren, Shannon Brown (Aaron), Brandon Claussen (Kelli), Brett Soderlin (Kelly), Trent Deines (Carl), Brittney Soderlin, Chelsi Weber (Brent), Shelby Claussen (Laura), Shea Soderlin, Stevi Anne Claussen (Taylor) and Samantha Claussen. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to C.H.A.R.T. to assist other community members who are suffering from the effects of cancer.
