He is survived by: his mother Doris Hicks; his wife Brandi Poor Thunder of Martin; his daughters, Jacklyn Hicks of Rapid City and Alyssa Hicks of Rapid City; and his siblings, Dorothy Scherer of Martin, Karen Bakley (David) of Martin and Leroy Hicks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
