She was predeceased by: her husband Gottfried A. Schnabel; her son Ronald; her husband Theophil Neuharth; her siblings, Albertha Mogle and Berthold Ketterling; her son-in-law Tony Nugteren; her stepson Doyle Neuharth; and her stepson-in-law Gene Dunker.
She is survived by: her sister Magdalena Ketterling (Hochhalter); her daughters, Bonnie Nugteren (Greg) of Monroe, SD and Karen Nugteren (Richard Schaefer) of Monroe, SD; her brother Eugene Ketterling (Clara) of Waverly, IA; her brother-in-law George Mogle of Miller, SD.; and her stepchildren, Karen Dunker of Aberdeen, SD, Wade Neuharth (Kathy), Judy Singer (Tom) and Sanford Neuharth (Gene). She is also survived by many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
