He was predeceased by: his parents, Soren Knutson and Mabel Knutson (Gunderson); his wife Mavis Myrold; his son Michael; his granddaughter Samantha; his great grandchild Mavi; and his son-in-law Bob Schoenwald.
He is survived by: his children, Edie Schoenwald of Marion and Chris Knutson (Mindy) of Sioux Falls; his daughter-in-law Tanya Knutson-Davidson (Randy); his grandchildren, Courtney (Greg), Robbie (Kathy), Danielle (Andrew), Echo (Ross), Skylar and Brooke; his great grandchildren, Lelani, Saige, Michael, Sequoia, Trey, Taya, Declan and Urijah; and his sister Charlotte Wagner.
