He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wiens and Leona Wiens (Ratslaff); and his sister Thelma Kattke. He is survived by: his sisters, Verna Temple of Sioux Falls, Jo Jennings of Humboldt and Carol Purvis (Glenn) of Winona, Texas. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethesda Mennonite Church (44354 273rd St, Marion, SD 57043). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
