It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theola Cecil of Madison, South Dakota, born in Mitchell, South Dakota, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Vetter and Mary Jo Vetter (Grassel); her brother John Vetter; her siblings-in-law, Jenny Vetter and Hans Christensen; and her niece Sara Christensen.
She is survived by: her daughter Amy Brown (Tom) of Madison; her grandchildren, Anthony Brown (Abby) of Watertown, SD, Brittney Sprenger (Andy) of Crystal Springs, ND and Cora Youngberg (Noah) of Vermillion, SD; her sister Margaret Christensen of Woonsocket, SD; and her sister-in-law Gloria Vetter of Mitchell, SD. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews.
