With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Thill of Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thill and Fern Thill (Bahr); his sister Carol (Doug Schmidt); his niece Cathy Rich; and his father-in-law Leo Feerick.
He is survived by: his wife Mary of Madison; his daughter Kristin Olson (Justin); his grandchildren, Brynlee, Brecklynn and Braysen of Madison; his son Nathan Thill (Kami); his grandson Alexander of Madison; his daughter Amy Tiedeman (Tyler); his grandchildren, Makenna, Olivia and Tucker of Flandreau; his sister Doris Boulais of Madison; his uncle Francis Bahr of Madison; his nieces, Mina Keppen of Sioux Falls and Rona Boulais of Madison; his nephew Hank Schmidt (Maxie) of Pierre; and his mother-in-law Annalee Feerick of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (415 Van Eps Ave S, Madison, SD 57042). A prayer was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
