He is survived by: his siblings, William "Bill" Schlim of St. Charles, IL, Don Schlim (Mary K.) of Howard, Clyde Schlim (Connie) of Philip and Shirlee Miller (Robert). He is also survived by seven nieces; five nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
