She is survived by: her husband Wilmer Burton; her sons, Scott, Curtis (Yvette), Randy (Amy), Roger (Amy) and Daniel (Elizabeth); and her siblings, Donna Godfrey, Richard Gibbs, Laurel Merhish and Wilma Hinesley. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren.
