Kay Deremo Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2024, at the age of 101, Kay Deremo of Madison, South Dakota, born in Fremont, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Markey and Florence Markey (Delaney); her husband James "Bill" Deremo; her son Randy; her siblings, George "Bud" Markey and Irene Moose; and her son-in-law Doug Groce.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Groce of Madison, Rhonda Baxter (Gary) of Clear Lake, SD, James Deremo of Fargo and Sandra DeWitt (Jerry) of El Dorado, KS; and her sister Joyce Pederson (Harvey) of Madison. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Thomas School, 401 Van Eps Ave. N., Madison, SD 57042.
