He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Goeman and Adelia Goeman (Fischer); and his sister Janice Larsen (Wally Larsen). He is survived by: his wife JoLynn; his children, Rod Goeman (Cheryl), Jim Goeman (Denice) and Kelli Wollmann (Darwin); his grandchildren, Jordan Goeman, Jenessa Goeman, Mathew Wollmann (Emily) and Megan Wollmann; his nephew Scott Larsen (Heidi); his niece Julie Elking (Charlie); and his extended family, Langner and Goemann of Minnesota.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM at the Rustand-Weiland Funeral Chapel (320 Egan Ave N, Madison, SD 57042). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (122 Grant Ave N, Madison, SD 57042).
