With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Schwiesow of Madison, South Dakota, born in Wessington Springs, South Dakota, who passed away on September 13, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eaner Krog and Esther Krog (Farrington); her husband Leaman Schwiesow; and her grandson Kelly. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Olson of Davis, SD, Leslie Schwiesow (Cindy) of Andover, MN, Kim Ernster (Kevin) of Salem, SD and Dallas Schwiesow (Choni) of Ramona, SD; and her sister Verna Thum. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethel Lutheran Home or St. John Lutheran Church.
